It's difficult to understand...

sometimes and I don't get it. So, I ordered a few things from an office store today. I was assured they were all in stock. What baffles me is I'm receiving 1 item Tuesday. 2 Items on Wednesday and the final item on Thursday. Now if they're all in stock, why 3 different delivery days? Once again, I don't get it.

Could be shipping from different warehouse locations. Stuff is considered in stock so long as their computer reports it that way. But the computer is considering all warehouse locations in the country.
