It's Friday the thirteenth...are you superstitious?

No, I'm not superstitious.
I hope everyone enjoys this Friday!

I saw this on the Internet, so it must be true:

I'm too well read, too well traveled and just plain too old to believe in any kind of baloney.

You can keep your tooth fairies, Santa Clauses, various devils and your Friday, the 13th. I don't believe in them because they sure don't believe in me.

There is way too much to fear in the real world; so I don't fear nor worry about the make believ world.

I can't deny it, it was a good movie. Well, for a horror fan such as myself.

But as anything else, no.

Weirdly though, I was chatting with a neighbor yesterday. We were sitting on a bench outside in a covered area as the rain fell. He's got all kinds of ailments, poor guy. He had a symptom I have, only his got much much worse. I said something along the lines of, "that's sad, mine never got that bad", when I found myself, reflexively touching wood. See, even when you consider yourself rational, those lessons drilled into you resurface.

I may be just a tad superstitious, but not about Friday the 13th. But I will admit, I won't spray my mouthwash 13 times..it has to be either 12 or 14.
