I have a rectangular ruby ring, set in white/yellow gold. It was my mothers. When I had a house break-in, all my good jewellery was stolen .. except for this ring. It was in a beautiful case, which was overlooked. This ring has featured itself in dreams. I can't wear it unless I have it resized.

My daughter gave me a square white opal (my birthstone) a few years ago. I wear it all the time.
