Dealing with kids who value material things more than the familial. Example: "You need a new car, then you can give me your old one so I can afford the lifestyle I can't afford, but have chosen to live" Not exactly what was said, but exactly what was meant.....
I'll agree on the unicycle. I once had three of them and never learned to ride. Just couldn't get the balance right.
My sister's junior high school boyfriend broke both his arms one summer and couldn't ride his bicycle over to visit, so he learned how to ride a unicycle and would ride the three miles to the house to see her every day. His mother was in hysterics most of the time.
Pffft........heck I thought everybody found that easy to do.

This afternoon I made hamburger gravy, then I made steamed broccoli and then when that was finished I cooked some potatoes for the adult grandkids and myself. It really made me sad that I didn't make them all together at the same time on the top of the stove. One of these days when my husband is free and can help me.
