It's Not Good To Charge Devices To 100%

I had read an article about it a while back. Last week, my son asked how long I had been charging my phone. I told him I plugged it in when I went to sleep. He said I shouldn't charge it for so long. Even though he was on his way out for work (3:40 a.m.), he took the time to set up my phone so it would only charge to 90% and showed me how he did it. My tablet is older than my phone and only gives the option to limit the charge to 85%. Both are Samsung devices.

Good information, I just set mine to charge to a max of 95%!

Always felt this to be true. Charge phone to 90+% only always. Thought it was just me!

True, I have a charging app that sets my charging to 95%. It alerts me to unplug the charger.

The newer phones have setting options for you to choose a default full charging percentage. Once the battery is charged to your slected percentage, it stops charging.

I set mine to 90%. I don't need to monitor and/or unplug.
