It's too hot to eat

We had chili last night, even though it was still 90 degrees, just because I wanted to use up the chili ingredients taking up space in the pantry. I figured it would be the last time until next fall. To my surprise the men ate it and raved about it per usual and said they thought we should have it every Sunday, all year round.
I have heard that hot countries continue to eat hot spicy food all year.

No problem with eating or cooking anything at any time. Thankfully, I'm inside under central air. My area reached 95 today with real feel 102. I fixed a pot of homemade chicken soup, the kind I call dump soup. All types of big veggies and chunks of other meat, not just chicken. I love it any time of year with golden snack crackers! I also like cold cut sandwiches with cheese. Very cool and refreshing in warm weather.

My favorite sandwich and now that we have microwaveable bacon there's no big greasy mess! No beer at our house but it goes great with corn-on-the-cob.
It’s too early yet for local corn. I much prefer white corn over other colors. We still get ours from Florida, Georgia or South Carolina.

I am also waiting on our fresh peaches to come in. I live on corn on the cob and fresh yellow peaches.

I'm going to take this in a different direction and tell you WHAT'S too hot to eat! We go to a place called Torchy's for tacos. They always have Taco of the Month. A couple of years ago they had a taco called the Scalding Pig. I love spicy food but never could have anticipated this. It was so spicy I could only eat a couple of bites and needed several glasses of water. My eyes were watering, I was sweating. Hubby still laughs about it to this day. This short video shows my reaction.

Thank God I found a kindred soul I sometimes have had peanut butter and ham in a sandwich people have looked at me rather strangely I still like the taste what can I say?
Didnt you know. Theres lots of us. :D
That does sound good. I havent tried ham yet. I like crunchy peanut butter on toast with banana, bacon, and raisins.

Edit to add. Its never too hot to eat.
