Charles was noted for these rather strange comparisons. His most famous one was about a proposed extension to the National gallery "what is proposed is like a monstrous carbuncle on the face of a much-loved and elegant friend.”
He was not opposed to modern architecture, but believed that it had to complement rather than overwhelm the existing buildings.
 
Times are changing..slow, but sure as people become more educated, these ugly scenes will disappear or when all races stand together arm and arm to keep and protect the United States from being taken by a foreign government.
