I've Asked Before About SAD

I'm so sorry, Ruth. I have been through severe depression. I understand what it is like to no longer have any interest in everyday activities and to deal with the hopelessness and "nervousness". Depression runs in our family. My mother became Agoraphobic and didn't leave her house for 4 years. Lexapro has worked for both of us.

Don't know much about nutrients but I HEARD and READ that Vitamin B COMPLEX WITH FOLIC ACID raises moods.
I really think it does!
You may be affected by the atmosphere of the Earth, extra sensitive about all the horrible things happening in the world.
if you can't get the sunshine, music you love can help a lot too!
My heart goes out to you. Wish I could help!
You bring up a really good point. I find that when I watch the news or any of my favorite shows (Daily Show, John Oliver) I am much more depressed because all I'm hearing about is everything that is wrong in the world. I want to stay aware but I need to take it in small doses. Go figure why crime shows are more uplifting than the news these days? Maybe because it makes me feel good about myself!

Also, yes music does wonders.

I'm glad Lexepro works for both of you. I am now taking prozac. Thanks for your message.
