I've Heard It Said That There are No Stupid Questions...Or Are There?

I don't know if this fits in this topic, but years ago I knew a woman and we were talking and I mentioned I had taken my 5 month old baby to the Doctors and he said that she had a problem with a sinus infection. She said "Wow what a stupid Doctor, doesn't he know babies aren't born with sinus's." That was many years ago and I still laugh when I remember what she said.

Yes, I've often heard 'sinus' referred to as a condition rather than a body part.

When I was 18, I got a job as toy department manager in a store that was situated in a lilly white town. I don't know if any Black people lived there during that time. One of the people in my charge asked me "Do Black people get lighter in the sun?" And she was dead serious!
One of the white women in the last office I worked in strongly believed that mosquitos did not bite black people.
I told her that "would be news to all my black friends."
