Well, I just logged on and read a few threads and see I missed all of the excitement!!:p

I mentioned before that I had enrolled in two on-line courses - what a big mistake that was! They are both through the same
University but the sites themselves are very different and I'm having a heck of a time navigating through them. On top of that, one of
our horses has had to have vet visits and then I've had to go to the clinic (hour and half drive) to pick up his special medication that had to be ordered in.
(suspect he has ulcers).

My time is not MY time anymore. But.... I'm enjoying the course content, just not the 100 e-mails per day or the fact that the web site
mentions CDs to watch that weren't in the package I rec'd, only to find out they "forgot" to change the site to say that they are on-line too. So
I spend an hour trying to figure out what CD they are talking about (because there were some CD's, just not the one they mention) only to find that there
isn't one. URGGGGH.

I do miss being on this site as much as used to, but I am trying to keep up with the happenings.

Hope you are all well and happy and I'm keeping an eye on you so behave yourselves! (no - don't reply to that!:D)

Excitement, what excitement?!

Glad your courses are exciting you, I am sure it will get easier once you learn to navigate your way round.

Best of luck......and some of us may need that eye...

Hello, so nice to see you! And you are sure caught up in a whirlwind.

I admire your ambition and I am sorry to hear one of your horses is ill.

You are Busy, if you don't mind my asking what type of courses are you taking?

Equine Health and Disease Prevention and Management of the Equine Environment. Both through the University of Guelph.

OH, we've been trying to get some weight on him for a year and am slowly ruling out possible reasons why he can't keep it on. He eats more than my other horse who is about 1200 lbs and the sick one is only about 800-900 lbs. Bottomless pit! Anyway, we will know in a month or so if this is working. He's doesn't appear to be in discomfort but hasn't been worked for a few months just to make sure he has every option to pack on some pounds.

My house is for sale too so I'm trying to keep it in "show" condition. Had a showing this morning but haven't gotten any feedback.

Yup - I'm a busy lady these days.

Missed ya' TICA..I didn't realize your courses were on two different websites. That would be a pain trying to learn to navigate two and learn your material at the same time. Are you still in the farm designing project? Hope you can maybe post the final design on the horse group later.

LOL.. at keeping the house in "show condition". I always kept the horses in show condition and the house in barn condition...Just kidding! I know many times over what a pain it is to sell a house and be sure to tidy everything up before you leave in the morning.

The last realtor insisted that we not be there for showings, and we would leave at the designated time, for a couple of hours. Later, to find out they never even showed or bothered to call us to tell us we didn't have to leave, because the appointment was cancelled. That was no minor inconvenience when you had to gather everything up after working all day and shoot out of the house, dogs included!

Check in when possible and keep us posted on your academic progress and for sure at least short notes on how the horse is improving.

Been missing you TICA, good to hear from you! Hope your horse's ulcers aren't too bad. You do sound awfully busy there girl! Good luck with everything, and take care! :love_heart:

TICA!!! HI!!!

Ya know what? That Guy wasn't sharing his waves, and, and ya know what? SeaBreeze became a Boss here and she's REAL mean to us, and, and, and, CeeCee wants to marry me but I said NO! 'cause she's just another girl with cooties, and, and, ya know what? Matrix is hiding and won't come out again until we bring him cookies, and, and, my nose is runny and I wiped it on my sleeve and Diwundrin said "EWW, GROSS!!!" so I threw my frog down her blouse, and, and, well, um, that's pretty much all.

Good luck in school and hope your horsie is feeling better. :D

I feel so bad for you, Phil, cuz That Guy did share his wave with me a couple of times. And sorry to break your heart, but CeeCee is only stringing you along. And I hate to tell you, but Seabreeze is nice to everyone other than you. You poor thing, but have a good day, okay? :encouragement:

TICA, welcome back. You do have your hands full, the courses alone...but keeping the house in tip top order for showing is a bugger. Keep us posted when you catch a minute, as I imagine they are few. Good luck!

Phil that is not you. If it is, who'd you wrestle that Carnegie Mellon t-shirt from?:mask:

I would have you know, young lady, that I am a fully matriculated student of the Carnegie Mellon School of Transcendental Parody!

As such, we got the T-shirts for free after our first panty raid.
