James Earl Jones,a multi-talented actor is 88 today
I haven't seen all his movies,a couple of favorites:
voice of'Darth Vader' in original 3 Star War movies:
'Star Wars'77,"The Empire Strikes back'80,"Return of the Jedi' 83
"Field of Dreams' '89 co starring with Kevin Costner,Amy Madigan
"The Lion King' '94 voice of'Mufasa'
He has won 2 Tony awards:
'69 for play'Great White Hope'
'87 for play'Fences'
In 2012,he received an honorary Academy Award
In 2010,I saw him&Vanessa Redgrave on Broadway in the revival of'Driving Miss Daisy'.When they first walked on stage before the performance started,we gave them a standing ovation.They were terrific

Definitely remember his voice in Star Wars. After the filming of Star Wars A New Hope (1977), David Prowse, the body of Darth Vader, didn't know his voice was going to be replaced with Jones. At the Premiere, Prowse found out and wasn't happy at all. Got into an argument with George Lucas and Lucas wound up banning him from attending any Star Wars Celebrations.

I also remember Jones being the Admiral in The Hunt For Red October.
