Have you ever seen a psychic? Many years ago my 2 cousins who were nurses went to see James. They made sure they didn't talk when they were in line waiting to get in. After his lecture was over he was giving out his signature. When my cousin went up to get his signature he said to her "Please let me hold your hand" She did and he said that he was soo sorry to tell her but they would find her grandfather's body on a Tuesday. She was totally shocked because our Grandfather was missing. My Aunt
had taken him to a festival and made him sit on a bench while she went to get him something to drink. When she went back with the drink he was missing. She started screaming and people ran over to help her, but they couldn't find him. After that,
we went on search party after search party. Then a month later a little boy was running through a field and tripped over the body. It was on a Tuesday and the cause of death was said to be a heart attack. I have always been fascinated by how James Van Praagh knew all that. A talent like that is amazing
 

In my high school psychology class, the teacher brought in a lady who was psychic. She was very interesting to listen to & was the first chance to hear someone with her ability. She walked passed some students who must have been open to this & told them things who later said "How did she know that?". I was curious, but still in half-a-mind about it & she kept walking past, but I could tell she wanted to say something to me but didn't. I've always wished I'd been more open to it then since I've learned more about it.

Some people really do have the gift.
 
Sorry to hear that your grandfather died.... but I have to ask Sassy, why would your Aunt start screaming when she discovered her father wasn't on the bench?.. and why would people run over to help ?.. he wasn't a child , so what was the reason for the hysteria ?
 

I, and my son, had a session with George Anderson. I have it on tape. It was pure BS. Charged me a fortune. Had to know. Spent two years trying to get appointment with him, he so booked. This was after my husband died.
 
'There is a near and dear boy, who has passed, and is trying to contact you"- How could I "know" that? It's easy YOU are filling in the details. You are taking a general statement, and personalizing it to apply to your life.
"I have a message from Mary to her special relative". Susie Smith says, "That's me" That's my Aunt Mary".
At one time, I was heavily into New Age. I was giving 'readings'. I wasn't trying to scam anyone, but I was pretty much babbling about whatever came into my head. Sounded good at the time, but I can't tell what I'll have for tomorrow's lunch, never mind your future, or someone else's past.

I think she started screaming because my Grandfather was over 90yrs old and had dementia
 
I also once had, in my young years, an incredibly amazingly accurate reading from a psychic. I saw her again a year or so later & it was gibberish. But the first time - wow - . She knew things, things about my mother & grandmother...she knew details. I don't believe it was luck, I gave no clues, very careful about things like that.

She told me my mother's sister's REAL name, even my mother didn't know and we found proof. She knew how many miscarriages my mother had. She knew grandma was in the process of dying. "She will be dead soon" and she was. She named names.
 
That's amazing Sassy. There are bona fide psychics @hollydolly @fuzzybuddy. I know because not only have I been to three (four but one was obviously a shyster) and I am one. I've had the gift since I was young and it became more pronounced after I gave birth to my son. He and other family members claim to be afraid of me because of the things I can do with my mind and they are serious about that. That surprised me though when it came up. I am not psychic on demand like the psychics you see on T.V. It comes when it comes. BTW I never give a psychic information beforehand so precisely so they can't make generalizations. But the three of them told me very specific things that were either already true or came to pass.
 
There was a famous TV psychic here.. he was a sensation.. had his own TV show for years..everyone believed everything he said.

One year I was working on a show at the studio where Colin Fry's seance style show was being held where he gave readings to an Audience..

His show was on in the next Studio to the show I was working on.

In the UK,, people apply for audience tickets for any TV show.. and because they are free it's literally a first come first served basis, so even when you arrive at the studios there is no guarantee you will get a set, so you stand in the queue and the first 100 or 200 in, get seated and the rest get sent home.. This is the situation with all TV shows being recorded in all studios..

For the first time ever I saw The audience for CF's show.. being seated in a little tearoom.. within the reception area. . No other audience members could use the tea-room..only the audience for studio 2 for CF's show. ..because they'd been sent tickets after they'd applied and given a few small details.

The waitresses serving tea and cakes were dressed up like Elves.. and served everyone before they went into see the show..

CF.. would do the usual..I have a John here.. etc.. and someone would stand up and declare it was for them.. however he got things quite correct several times , and people were astonished, at how he knew. Swearing they hadn't told a soul, and he couldn't possibly have known.

What they'd forgotten was first of all when they applied for a ticket, a researcher like myself called them and just asked for a very few basic details.. then when they were at the studio..the ''elves'' were CF's assistants, who listened into all conversations, and relayed them back to CF in his dressing room before he went on stage..

CF..at one time.. had used a different name and had been exposed in when during a séance the lights were unexpectedly turned on and he was seen holding a spirit trumpet in the air which the audience had been led to believe was being levitated by spiritual energy

However he changed his name and managed to fool the masses again. sadly he didn't see the coming of his own death at just 53 in 2016.. but prhaps if there really is an afterlife.. he will have had to deal with the relatives of those people who he fooled... and took their money

Not saying there are not fake psychics HD...there are plenty of them, I'm sure. But some people really do have the gift. Most of them aren't out there charging hundreds, going on T.V. and making spectacles out of themselves. Another thing, people think psychics get every little detail right. Often the readings come with symbolism that must be interpreted or a date may be off or the color of something, etc.

I understand you Diva.. but in reality, ( unintended pun).. we've had several very well know Psychics who've had their own shows over probably 50 years .. written books , you name it toured the world, , and ultimately they've always been shown at some stage to be fakes. You'd think if there was real psychics.. we'd manage to get ONE.. to be on TV.

All psychics say.. they do this not for their own benefit but ''to help people'' well if that's the case, why aren't those who supposedly have the gift .. standing up and ''helping people'' by making themselves known?

rhetorical question obviously..
