Japanese Lemon Server/Bonbon

Given to me by my maternal grandmother, probably in the early to mid 1960s. She lived to be 89 passing in 1999. I did some looking online and only found 2 others, one was part of a tea set. I don't know how it came into her possession (kids don't think to ask these things), but my oldest uncle on that side of the family served in the Korean conflict and may have obtained it while serving in Asia. I assume RS refers to "rising sun" as indicated by the logo. It's very attractive and has a lot of gold glaze.

It's probably among the ceramic and glass wares Japan produced for tourists and foreign markets after WWll. They also mass-produced a whole slew of decorative items i.e., wooden figurines, glass figurines, and various things made of shells, bamboo, and/or paper for the foreign market, and rebuilt their country with the profits.
