Jeopardy! -James Holzhauer

This guy is a genius. I've started watching every afternoon, and his knowledge, and willingness to risk, is amazing.
 

It's been fun to watch, but I missed the $18 one. Heck!

I wonder if he has a photographic memory? If so, wouldn't it be great to have a game where all three contestants had that attribute? :eek:nthego:
 
Cannot miss a show now! He's amazing, and so calm, cool and collected as he rolls on.
Sure hope he breaks Ken Jennings record. (that is over $4 million)

I've been watching every night for decades. It was my mothers favorite show so we watched together. But James is like a machine. Not much of a match. In fact, no match. I'm getting disinterested now. But viewership has doubled.

He's a professional gambler by day and says he got a lot of practice betting on sports. He says everyone in Vegas knows him by his first name. The amount of money he's making on Jeopardy is probably peanuts compared to his net worth.

I have been loving it. Will not watch again until he is back on. Never found the teacher ones very good except that I am amazed that some of them actually teach our kids. Mine were blessed to have good ones. Just my opinion. Yours might be different. I do have one that is a teacher.
 
Yeah, I've made a calendar reminder to start watching again on May 20.
I like watching James, it's fun. :)

He has some skill with the buzzer. Also watch him calculate how much to wager.

I've seen comments that some think he's arrogant. I totally disagree. Some people are even making fun of his teeth saying he needs to see an orthodontist.

People used to call Ken Jennings Alfred E. Neuman (MAD magazine) and Howdy Doody.

He does have skill with the buzzer. He explained I watched an interview. There is something the viewers don't see that the contestants do.

You can't ring in until Trebek finishes the question and you can time it that way but there are also a set of lights that go around the board that the contestants see and you can time it that way as well.

It's easy to gamble when you are not gambling with scared money.
