You shake my nerves and you rattle my brain
Too much love drives a man insane
You broke my will but what a thrill
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire

Those lyrics still go round my head. When my wife and I were in our late twenties and into Latin and Ballroom dancing in a big way, one of our dance instructors showed us a brief film, (no videos back then,) of an American couple jiving and he was lifting her, spinning her and in general it was more gymnastic than dance. But we got into it.

The song that I quoted, Great Balls of Fire, was fast paced and perfect for the gymnastic style of lifting yet keeping in rhythm. It was also a very short song, less than two minutes, and the amount of energy that would spend, that was about all we could manage. Rattle my brain? That and everything else!

Depending on my mood at the time, I sometimes liked some of Jerry Lee Lewis's songs. Despite his unorthodox personal life, you have to admit, he could playing that piano, even if it wasn't music to your liking.

Some music that helps, while turning back your clocks!⏲️🕰️🕘
