Jesus views on church dogma

God is ever present in my life.
You were asking Lavinia about ever present God in her life.
Your "gobbledygook"(your word) apology accepted. Looks like you just misunderstood. No problem.

Huh? I forgot what gaslighting is but it can't be good lol. What's troubling you? I have no idea. I just looked up gaslighting. Wow, "manipulate someone by psychological means into questioning their own sanity." That's not in my DNA. It's totally off the rails. Peace 🙏

I'm a little confused. You say you don't believe the Bible is inerrant or infallible. And then, you quote the Bible to support your view. If you don't think it is infallible, how do you know the parts you quote are accurate? What's your criteria for deciding which parts to accept?
I don't know, you don't know, nor does anyone else know in terms of truth of a vast list of items in the Bible. There are numbers of facts we can be absolutely certain of while other on a gradual scale not. For instance, Israelites did inhabit the Middle East for centuries. Others like there were once kings David and Solomon, somewhat less certain. And others like a flood covered the entire planet land surface, certain to be an exaggerated fable. Scholars, about the only persons with access to historical documents have been attempting to assess truth for over 2 millennia. Today in this modern science telecom era with the Internet and books, what was hidden is now available to any that wish to investigate.

This part time seeker, given my education and lifelong occasional research is gradually enlightening myself while very much aware some of my views are certain to be incorrect just as other ideas I leaned towards 2 decades ago have now been cast aside. Just like with the many science subjects I study, this skeptic views information on relative scales just like I carefully write so. And to me, it is of greatest possible importance as potential eternal life of my brain electromagnetic field entity may be in the balance.

What don't you understand? People taking the Bible out of context? In my experience people do it quite often usually to prove that god is on their side.
