Jiff Peanut Butter Recall for Salmonella

oh, by the way, if you make your own peanut butter at home and buy some really high quality peanuts...the product produced is going to be out of this world...far better than anything you have ever eaten.

Some stores have peanut butter machines...and you buy the roasted peanuts and then fresh grind them yourself. And that produces a very good quality peanut butter.

But you can go one step farther.

In my weird hippie job journey, I worked in two natural bakeries and one natural restaurant.

One of the natural bakeries bought wheat berries from Arrowhead Mills in Texas. Then, they used to fresh grind them and bake with the flour they made, that day. Creates an amazing product.

I do remember that there were very high quality peanut sources. This is now fully 40 years later, so I no longer remember the source names, but I am sure they exist.

Getting tired, getting late. Wishing everyone well...

Oh, I remember....one of the good ones was Valencia.

and then, a good quality Valencia and then the ones who really know exactly how to roast it.

I still don't remember many details...but that I much I remember now...

I am sad to say (and share) that Adams Peanut Butter was bought by, and is now owned by..... Smucker's.....same company that owns Jif.o_O:confused:

I hope they do still produce it (Adam's) the same as it used to be done, and in the same, separate facilities, that it once was instead of ones that process Jif, but I have no idea about those details.
