Another favorite actor of mine, multi-talented John Lithgow is 72 today
His best known TV role was "High Commander,Dick Solomon" in NBC's very funny sitcom,'Third Rock From the Sun'96-'01 which I loved. The premise of show,4 aliens land on Earth to learn our ways.. He becomes a professor of physics at a local univ in Ohio.His 'love interest' on the show was another professor,played by Jane Curtin. He won 3 Emmys for lead actor in Comedy,'96,'97,'99 His other TV roles:
"Jerry' How I Met Your Mother' '11-'14
"Winston Churchill' in Netflix show'The Crown"'16,he recently won a Best Supp Actor for his portrayal
John has won 2 Tony awards:
"The Changing Room' '73-Best featured Actor in play,his Broadway debut
"Sweet Smell of Success' 02-Best Actor in Musicial
He does voice over for Progresso Soups Sue

I hope he has a wonderful Birthday. I've always liked him in anything I saw him in, my favorite role he played was a serial killer in "Dexter". He was great in the part.

That was a totally different kind of role for him, but he did an incredible job of it. He was creepy as Hell. The Dude even scared me.
