Just call me Little Miss Goldilocks.....

…...or Old Lady Greylocks, if you want to be accurate. I'm driving down the street this afternoon and what do I see but the Three Bears. I stopped the car and got some pictures of these cute half-grown cubs. Mama Bear's going to be pretty mad when she comes home and finds out they've been out running through the neighborhood.

I don't know if I'd be brave enough to take pictures - even from inside a vehicle. Those bears are cute, but (as you said jujube) half grown, AND I'd be afraid Mama was hovering nearby. :eek:mg1:

This was in FLORIDA?

No, this was in Hendersonville, NC, near where we spend our summers. Although, there was a bear spotted this spring two streets over from us in Central Florida. Lots of bear in some areas near us in Florida.

I can assure you I had the index finger of my left hand planted firmly on the UP button of the car window the whole time. I have a healthy respect for bears. Especially for mama bears.

Wow to be amongst some wild bears in our 'so-called' civil environment is a rare occasion Jujube.....I witnessed twice in my backyard black bears rumaging thru ours and the neighbors' garbage cans until we had em' 'bear proofed' with chain links on each side.....solved the problem this year so far....

Nice shots of the little ones Goldi! :D We've seen some bears in our camping travels, but I never got a clear photo of one and never saw any young cubs....a plus for us, the mama is always super protective.

There must be some minor little problem in my computer that makes some videos incompatible. I only have this problem with a few of them.

I did look at the videos on youtube. Funny how the mama bear picks the cub up by the head and hoists him over the barrier.

jujube, you're not the only one having the problem so I doubt it's a glitch in your computer.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed. :)

Great pics JuJube. When I lived out west I saw bears walking on the streets at times. It’s not a sight you really get used to, or at least I didn’t.
It seems like you are really enjoying your vacation but I KNOW you can’t wait to get back to your washer and dryer. :playful::eek:nthego:
