Just curious. How many other forums are you a member of?

A couple of others but think I will stick with this one as it is too difficult going from on to the other - time consuming whichI don't have a lot of spare even though retired, and I find repeating myself on each forum and probably to the boredom of other members who are also on multiple forums. Also I like this one because it calls me a junior member - makes me feel so young:)
 

I was on another SENIOR Forum however I contacted management to have my membership deleted , was sick to death of scammers sending me private emails ..I stated clearly on my profile I was a senior woman , married , but still received some really weird emails from scammers, both male and female, well who knows who what gender they were ??? :eewwk::eewwk:

The scammers are quick of the mark I was only a member for about 5 hours and in that time received three private emails with enclosed near naked photos ..I only put up with it for three weeks before requesting to have my membership deleted..!from other posts I read on that particular site it's quite common for many members to be contacted by the scammers ..I must admit the management worked hard in an effort to Stop the practice ...I have never encountered the same issue on SF

I'm curious about your book site. Would you mind telling me its name? It wasn't FanStory was it? That's a site primarily for writers, but there's certainly a lot to read there as well.

Only this one. I came upon it by accident, liked it and stayed. I think if I joined other ones I would be on the computer more than I would like and not have time for my sewing,crafts and redoing old furniture that I should have left where it was found. Also less time to drive the hubby nuts with my crazy ideas for around the house.
 
I was at the AARP website for 5 yrs but was getting bored with the same old, dull conversations. One of the posters mentioned this forum,ck'd it out liked what I saw,not going anywhere else Sue
 
Three senior ones, and my War game buddies one. Correction, two senior ones. Today, I excused myself from one due to receiving rude and patronising posts. Life is too short.

Through the years, I have posted on many forums.

But the main forum I began posting on in 2001 is a Russian politics/culture forum where I still continue to post.
