Just For No Reason, Except Being Bored

Ssh! Don't say that, she might want money! Seriously, the lady is a wonderful wife, we do bitch now and then but it never lasts and, come bedtime, we always make a point of going to bed, friends. We met young, married young and have always been there for one another.
We have clocked up fifty-six years of marriage, so, only just out of the starting blocks really! We plan to give Joyce & Ronald Bond a run for the money.
My sister who put her late husband on a pedestal said he used to say "Even teeth and tongue fall out", meaning that there will sometimes be disagreements (fights) with those closest to you. I have heard before that never going to bed angry with one another is one of the keys to having a happy marriage. 56 years is a blessing HC! Congratulations on making a successful marriage.

We used to enjoy mystery flights which involved just a day trip , to somewhere in Australia one such trip was to Brisbane Queenslands capital city it’s time zone is 1.5 hours different to South Aust in summer as they don’t have daylight savings .

We had a wow of a time in Brisbane it has a city cat transport service ( CityCat services
on the Brisbane river ) and we took advantage of the free city tourist bus where you can get in or off at any stop to visit museums/ art galleries/ river precincts / of course 100’s of eating places / parks / shopping / huge botanic gardens and the list gos on and on .

The trips were super cheap Brisbane is about 2.400 km by road from here ..the flights used to cost us $35.00 ~ $40. 00 each for a day trip

We didn’t start social ballroom dancing till in our very early 60’s We still dance but not as often due to most of the dances closing due to no volunteers wanting to take the responsibility / commitment to be there week after week to run dances.
After we both retired we decided we’d like to go to at least one dance in every state/ territory of Australia
and we've ticked off every state but Tasmania ….so we are planning a trip to Tassie sometime next year to fore fill that bit in our bucket list
