Just One More Toilet Paper Question

I just had to go look. 😁
I have 2 brands - "Quilted Northern Extra Plush, Extra Wide" & "Kirkland" (which is already extra wide because they never narrowed it.)
The Quilted Northern is triple ply & has a pattern of random dots & lines. I bought it just before Covid before they tripled the price.
The Kirkland is two ply & is embossed with a pattern of snowflakes.

This made me get out my chair to look. I wouldn’t say the pattern of the Kirkland brand in Canada is snowflakes. More like a stylized daisy, for lack of a better description.

Kirkland is two ply, strong, extra soft. It’s all we buy, though I did pick up a package of Purex at WM, just in case. We haven’t been able to go to Costco since July.

Does anyone make their choice based on having a septic system?

PC (pre-Covid), I rated hotels on the quality of their TP and tissues. Even higher end places started being cheap.

True, gynecologists associated a spike in *woo-woo* inflammations with direct contact with toilet paper dyes, but colored TP really started disappearing around the 80s when people were updating their bathrooms by replacing the old pastel pink or green or blue toilets with shiny new white ones.

I won't settle for any less than 2 layers of softness. I don't like fuzzy softness, though. That stuff tends to shed, and I've got enough fuzz on my butt, thank you.

Just as an afterthought I decided to have a look at the paper towels design....diamond design, too bad they're only paper.

don't you folks get 3 ply in the USA and Canada ?

i had assumed all the colors had gone away ..... the colors i used to see were never that vivid either.....
the reasoning I had always heard when colors disappeared was it was for the environment and taking dyes out of waste water management....
many local areas may have a ordinance on colored TP
so i wonder what would happen if these bright colors if sold by Amazon started to show up at the sewage treatment plants.

I have pale pink also........like I say all the supermarkets in Spain sell the colours, never seems to be a problem with sewage there... and the Large supermarkets here sell those vivid colours in Kitchen paper too

I can't believe we, as mature adults, are actually on the internet, writing about TOILET PAPER.
Think about it!
Being comfortable in ones very own skin and not caring one iota as to what others think, is the most liberating and energizing feeling I can think of.

We're not hurting anyone and that's all that matters. 🚽:poop:🪠🧻:giggle:

Bottom line !!!! :) is it has to be white. Could never have anything but white - does that make me slightly weird.
