a lot of that is the shoppers. some of them don't know where stuff is in the store because i have no trouble finding some. i don't know if they're not allowed to grab something more expensive if it's all that's left? i just want the damn bread. i don't care if it's some other bread. i just want bread for my sandwich. if they don't have that generic then give me whatever the hell is there that's closest to what i asked for. it's not rocket science. why bring me the lunchmeat if i can't make the damn sandwich cuz i got no bread? ya know? The bread thing happened a lot when i used the pickup service. The online menu doesn't always match what is on the store's shelf. So. you can be ordering goods that aren't there. And even, if you opt for "substitutions" a lot of what you wanted doesn't get put in the bag.
then i had the lady that didn't understand that i order 2 half gallons of almond milk. she comes to the door and tells me she only got one cuz she's never seen a container of 2 before. i didn't even explain cuz it wasn't worth the waste of breath and she would've felt stupid when i got done. i don't like to order ice cream from the dillons click list because they tend to leave it set too long out in the store and it melts. i get it when i go into the store on occasion or through instacart. once you get to know what to expect it's easier to shop accordingly.
i prefer to mask up and go get my own but, i'm trying to stay away from the covid as much as i can. i'm going today cuz i need some specific things so i'll do it myself.
