Just Sayin'....

Hi!
I like doing self- checkout (s)...that way I know I won't be double charged..
And have been....and it's too much trouble to " fight it" as having discovered
the error after getting home( checking the receipt for correct price)
But that's just me!😉

I would never go to Walmart during this time of the year. I rely on their delivery which is great. You are braver than me.
Same here....I tried it a few times, didn't like it but only because I was unfamiliar with it....If I ever start shopping in store again, I'll make an effort to learn.

I don't like self checkouts. For some reason, I always get the products that won't scan. And I really get annoyed if there's a computer glitch. Like it says "Remove items from the scanning area", and there's nothing there, but the lousy machine refuses to scan any more items. GRRRRRR!!!!

It's happening all over here in New Jersey. Seems as though every store I hit, you have to self check yourself out. I even had to run all over Macy's recently looking for a sales person and a cashier.

Very easy. You can add or delete items up to 2 hours before delivery. Sorry, you probably meant self check out. When I went out I did use self check out.

I’ll use self-checkout if only buying a small number of items in order to avoid the long, frozen lines of people with full shopping carts. And hey, I enjoyed playing “Store” in kindergarten. What I hate are people checking out in the garden/seasonal exit with a full week’s worth of groceries…

I have loved self-checkout from the first time it was available in my store. Nobody with a cold touching my items. I don't have to stand in line waiting to checkout, which is difficult and painful for me to do. I am fast too!

And the next time you're in a parking lot with all those shopping carts everywhere
It's Sylvan Goldman's fault...a grocer who first invented one in 1930
in Oklahoma city. He called it "the folding basket carrier".
Before the invention, shoppers carried their groceries in a basket.

Most grocery stores here required a loonie to rent the cart until it was returned. It trained people to return the carts to the stalls and we rarely see carts in the middle of parking lots even if they don’t have a rental system.

I prefer checkouts with a cashier, well I can't say to a machine, "You've got gorgeous eyes, gizza a kiss", now can I? And the resulting smile from the lady sitting behind the screen, for me is always a pleasure. 😊

I prefer self checkout, no queuing, I was told the trick is not to try and pack at the same time, just check every item through first and, of course, it depends on the amount you buy I never have a big load of shopping

We have one chain that has cashiers yet you have to do your own packing. After finding that I’m an inefficient packer, I have admiration for the cashiers that do it.

Self checkout, as with the other aisles, would be a better experience without the pushy general public. People are rude.

Hi!
Don't know what a "loonie" is... there's only one grocery store.. Aldi's..that you put a quarter in a slot to release the cart from the cart ahead of it..and that "sorta" keeps the carts from getting to far away..people want there 25¢back..
But some of the people have no regard..and I have found carts way far from their store..and if I can... return them..as my annonymous good deed for the day.😉
