Just Switched From SD To HD TV Reception

Yesterday DIRECTV came out and installed the HD dish and box. The differences are a very sharp increase in audio volume and color level. I write this because when we purchase a new TV apparently judging from mine, we decide from the picture we see at the stores. If it does in fact impact the sound and color level like I experienced what you see at the store may not be what you see when you hook up at home.

Over the air TV is high definition and free.

If fiber optic service ever becomes available in your area...Switch! Our local electrical Co-op strung fiber throughout our area 2 or 3 years ago, and we signed up for their TV, phone, and Internet bundle. It is far superior to any other service we've ever had.
