Just tired

tired of living, tired of dealing with people, being a caregiver when I'm disabled to, no support from family except what i can do for them

No worries, John
We all get that way from time to time

Sometimes it’s just good to stop

I know, in some instances one can’t
But still, a bit of a breather is warranted

Ever consider hiring someone to spell you?
If you can’t, sometimes just some alone time on the back porch really helps

John, I almost burned out being one of my mother’s caregivers, and I was healthy. I would have not coped well with your situation. I believe there are forums online which offer caregiver support, some cities do also. Please reach out to us here for support. Your well-being is just as important as anyone else’s. ❤️

Thank you all my friends , Gary , I have to just bulk up , and get up in the the morning , cook and start the day, I have not been sleeping good, have some medical test coming up next week, well this marine's off to bed.

You got this

Crash and burn, Sir John, crash and burn

Hope you feel better soon, John. Good luck with your test. Reach out and ask for help! You deserve it.

This is a major reason Seniors don't become caretakers that much. Just too much to handle at this age. Now, if wife or I needed the other for "caretaking", we'd be right there for each other. Have done it before, but for short-term.

Luckily, none of our family members have ever needed caretaking, but if someone did, would have to give it some very serious thought before doing it.

Sorry you're feeling this way John, but I can't blame you. I agree with the others, take a break if possible and give yourself some peaceful 'me' time. Try to think a bit more positively despite what's going on, like you said, get up in the morning, make something good and special for yourself and try to bring some nature and sunshine into your daily life. Hoping all goes well with your medical tests next week, will be thinking of you.
