Just when you thought (or hoped) the scandal involving the Federal Labor party and the AWU had gone away listen to Michael Smith interview Bob Kernohan former President of the AWU at --

Its long but VERY revealing about seats being offered in parliament to keep quiet, and a beating for one who didn't, with dishonourable mentions of Bill Shorten, Gillard, Senator Ray etc.

.... with dishonourable mentions of Bill Shorten, Gillard, Senator Ray etc.

I'll read anything with that in it but pressed for time, I'll get back to you on it. Maybe transfer it to the Speakers Group, most won't have a clue or care who we're getting stuck into. OZ politics is an acquired taste.

Di the reason I posted in General Discussion is I thought people world-wide would be interested in corruption and bribery at the highest level of government in Australia and a PM having people sacked for merely mentioning it. This could make Watergate look like a garden party

If Labor faithful are ducking for cover now imagine where they will hide when this comes before the Courts with files missing or destroyed, the proverbial will really hit the fan.

And it seems hardly anyone bothers with speakers corner, sort of out of sight out of mind

You're right there Murph, I dont get to the groups much either lately. Have a few things going on at present and just post as I 'gallop' past so to speak. Never fear, we'll get around to hoeing into them again. I think most members have the same problems with the characters of their politicians, we don't have that market cornered, not even the Labor Party.

Bedtime. Maybe tomorrow I'll check it out if I get a few things sorted out.

Listened to all of that Murph, it's a rehash of what Pickering and others have been howling for years. The cops are 'still investigating' and there's not a lot we can do about it except hope some others grow a backbone.

People who see through Jules and her henchmen are already aware of all this, and people who think the sun shines out of her backside will shrug it all off as lies and libel and never be convinced. It will be ever thus.

I've done my hard yards over this before the election. They lost. Good, they deserved to. The civil actions are not my concern now.
So yes, it's something everyone in OZ should be aware of but whether they believe it or not I really don't give very high tosses about any longer.

Shorten is the only one that holds any interest because he's still in Parliarment, but not very much. You know what I think of him and so does anyone else who knows what we're talking about.

Sorry I wont be joining your outrage party just at present, I'll gear up again when the next elections are due.
