Even though the breast is a better choice health wise, I prefer dark meat!

I use most of the heels to feed the fish and turtles in the little drainage canal behind my house. Once in awhile a duck or gator.

I use it to feed the Whooping Crane that come right up to my door looking for a hangout,problem it is illegal to feed these endangered species. BUT they are so cute.

yes the heels of a loaf of bread make the best toast, but that's the only time I eat it..I wouldn't eat it untoasted it's too chewy..
