I noticed you said you like animals -- do you like New Forest ponies?

What football team do you watch?

I have never gotten to see an air show but used to enjoy watching skydivers (did a little myself but nothing like some of my friends).

I was born in the New Forest and my final resting place will be in the New Forest. Do I like New Forest ponies? Everyone loves them. Not only ponies but donkies, deer, foxes, pigs and countless types of birds and wee critters. There is talk of reintroducing wild boar back but there are so many against that they are having second thoughts. Beavers were reintroduced into Scotland and people are now beginning to realise that this was not such a good idea. They are OK in the wilds of places like Canada, miles from civilization but here in Britain nowhere is too far from human habitation. There is even talk of bringing the wolf back again. Thank goodness the dinosaur is extinct or we might be seeing them roaming our countryside.

Ever read any of Jasper Fforde's "Thursday Next" novels? Mammoths and neanderthals in the UK.

I think if anyone in England wants to reintroduce wild boar to the New Forest, they might consider spending a season in Alabama where wild pigs can run rampant even in residential areas. Not sure if they are quite the same creature as the English wild boar, but they are horrible. (But boars-head helms would be kinda cool IMO.)
