Kestrel on the hunt

Kestrel at RSPB Leighton Moss Salt Marshes this afternoon.
I was lucky enough to see this lovely bird on top of a post some distance off. Then even luckier for it to spot something in the grass and close half the distance before pouncing!

I imagine it sometimes take a great deal of time to get a shot like this. Beautiful bird.
