Kind, meaning: Brand, Thread Count, type of Cotton

We have one set that is Penny's Liz Claiborne Egyptian Cotton 400 Thread Count type. They are great for summer, but not so much for winter. We have two other sets of sheets that are more for winter sleeping. Are looking to buy set of Liz Claiborne Egyptian Cotton Sateen 800 Thread Count for summer. Regular price of this set is $220, but now on sale for $88. Some bad reviews, but lots of good-to-great reviews.

Nice bed linens can definitely mean better sleep.

I'm using some sheets from India that I bought on ebay for $10.55/set including shipping!

The seller and the packaging say that they are 800 thread Egyptian cotton but who knows.

It took forever for them to arrive but they have turned out to be a good value.

The last time I bought sheets was a couple of years ago, bought several sets of the JC Penney Home Collection, king size, cotton and poly blend. I don't know the thread counts, but we get mid range, not too thin and cheap, just durable. Our sheets have always been very comfortable, can't see spending a lot of money on something like that unless I had to.

I cannot sleep on sheets with Polyester in them-they have to be 100% cotton. I had the best sheets that I bought at Macys years ago-the brand was Sheridan. Loved those sheets-wish I had known they were going to stop carrying them,I would have bought several sets. So for now,my most important stipulation is (along with being 100% cotton) that they fit mattresses that are at least 18" deep. And still it`s a struggle.

Cool for a kid's bedroom!

You wouldn’t believe how many adult Star Wars fans there are that could have sheets like these on their bed.

Not to change my Thread, but I have an $800 Darth Vader Halloween costume. It was originally $1,700, but we bought it on sale in April 2016. Looks like David Prowse stepped right out of it on a Star Wars movie set. Wife and I love it!!
