I also heard that Harry told his father that Meghan wanted to talk to him but the King said "that was not necessary" true? false? I do not know but the media is certainly milking this whole episode. King Charles needs to be left alone to recuperate in private without so much speculation, treating cancer is hard enough without the drama.
I saw William on the news tonight, he looks so sad and his eyes kept blinking. I'm sure that he is very tired worrying about his dad and his wife and having to fill all the extra duties. My heart goes out to the RF, I hope that life gets back on track for them soon.
 

As you probably already know HD, I didn't like (then) Prince Charles. But since he became king, from what I've seen in news reports, it seems like he's doing a good job. Am I correct in your opinion? Anyway, it's caused me to soften my stance and now wish him well.

I have always thought Charles heart was in the right place, even when he was the spoiled prince... he's always cared very much for the environment etc.. Now he's King, he seems to be doing a very good job...

Today after his cancer diagnosis, and the start of his treatment, he appeared at Sandringham, for his Sunday walk to church, and waved to the crowds..

I wish him well.. and a recovery ...but I think that despite all his good living.. he only eats organic foods grown and bred on his own farm, and rarely drinks alcohol... the last few years.. the death of his parents, his new Role as King.. the betrayal of his youngest son.. is all now beginning to show on his face.. and he's definitely looking older very fast...

Yes, I have noticed that he's connecting with the people. That he cares for the environment is another plus. Isn't it something how one can eat right and do the "right things" but still come down with cancer! I remember the same thing happened with Diahann Carroll.
 
There is too much going on between the constant background noise created by Meghan and Harry, and now Charles has cancer and Kate has something mysterious. I hope Meghan and Harry go away, that Charles recovers quickly, and that Kate is well soon. However, all of this has me suffering from Post Dramatic Stress Disorder.

I have to agree with you, the stress he is under is showing in his eyes and face.
What worries me is that he is using a natural method and is not using Chemo and radiation.


I wish him well and a speedy recovery.

Is he ?...I didn't read that, I've been wondering what treatment he's having. I just presumed Radiotherapy..
 
Tish, it is our understanding that Charles is receiving treatment every other day in London. Where did you read otherwise? I do agree that he doesn't look well at all. In one picture, it looks as though he was crying. Not surprising at all. It was right after he met with Harry. That's enough to make anyone cry. His newest antics here in America are not going over so well.

he's certainly receiving cancer treatment in London, Lois.. you're correct , in fact he was having treatment today..

I think he is also using traditional therapy, but not 100% sure
He has in the past promoted coffee enemas, and carrot juice as an alternative.

King Charles could be having alternative cancer therapies
 
Good grief, I read the Daily Mail every day and haven't seen anything that you have described, Tish. From what I do read, he drives into London for his therapy. Not a word as to what that therapy consists of. Of course, there are different editions of that paper.

Tish...lol.. from the Daily Mail...coulda, woulda , shoulda..says an EX employee..lol....:D

Lois you're right he does come into London .. for his treatment.. if it's every day he'll sat at Buckingham Palace which is central London... if it's once a week he'll stay at Highgrove which is Gloucestershire , and is a hundred miles away.. and the same for Sandringham in Norfolk.. where the press are saying he and Camilla are living at the moment while he has his treatment.. which means he travels into the city in 45 minutes by Helicopter..

This picture has been on the news with people speculating abut it, and it was posted from somebody to do with the King’s Guards apparently.
They said the white horse is only supposed to be out when the King is there, and the King is not in that castle right now. Also, the flag is covered in black and not unfurled.
Do you know if this is usual or unusual, @hollydolly , and what it means if it is unusual ? Have you been seeing the same video over there , too ? (This is a screenshot I took from watching the video online)

never seen it Yvonne, not reported in our papers that I can find... in fact this was Charles on friday...
