Lab test results

The wordage on medical test reports is rather amusing - "Unremarkable," "Overlying Bowel Gas," "Liver Stiffness Values."
If the outside of us shows changes as we age, why wouldn't we expect changes on the inside? That's what makes some medical tests silly, in my view. Yeah...we're gettin' older & things wear out, so medical tests just might show some changes, eh?
A medical report wouldn't sound nearly as "professional" if it just said, "Your lab tests indicate that you're getting older."

When you read your report did it give you a nauseated feeling? Whenever I read medical reports about my inner organs I feel queasy inside. Talking about liver stiffness and gallbladder thickening. Ick. I'd have been a terrible doc or nurse. At least you don't have a lot of fluid or any masses. Finding an abundance of those two things would worry me.

The positive Hep values are probably from an innocualtion I received when working in the lab. It was mandatory for employees that were handling human tissue samples.
