Ladies, have you ditched your bra?

I wish I could!

Because I work every day, am around people every day, I don't have the freedom to be...er....free! ;) Additionally, menopause has endowed me additional bulk in that area, so I've gone from a pleasant and manageable 34A to an uncomfortable and annoying 36D, even though my overall weight is just a few pounds heavier than the weight I maintained my whole adult life other than pregnancies. So even when I'm NOT working, it's uncomfortable to go bra-less.

I have a variety of bras for different activities. Workout bras are very comfortable but give me, as Ron likes to call it, a Uni-boob 😂 I have some that I wear for work, which are soft cup, no underwire, soft fabrics. Not a lot of heavy duty support, but they're comfortable enough that I can wear them all day at work, round the house on weekends, running errands, casual dress.

When I dance I have to wear something different. I have a line of Playtex bras in several colors that are more structured and offer more support. I wear them also for other social events becuase they give a better look/silhouette to my more dressy outfits.

What about you? I have to assume that those of you who are retired are able to be more relaxed about bras. At least I hope so!!

I ditch mine the minute I get home, in fact sometimes it’s unhooked as I come up in the elevator !

I always wear one when I go out, I’m just going to a friends for tea so need to get mine back on now, bye :D

My bras were always uncomfortable. I always unhooked them when driving home from work, then ripped them off at home.

Now, (many) years and a lot of pounds later, I just got a new bra. Got it fitted professionally and, I must say, even with the larger bra and extra pounds, it's quite comfortable and "uplifting". Makes me look years younger. It's a Cacique. (If I can't post the brand, mods, please remove the brand name.)

I can't ditch mine either. I always wear one when I'm out and ditch it when I get unless I have to see people. I HATE underwires. I wear them a lot in the summer cuz I wear a lot of cami tops and straps would show. For sure underwire bras were designed by some misogynistic male. It's like being in a torture device. o_O :p:rolleyes:

Well, with women complaining about "not enough" & spending thousands & risking their health for bigger breasts, I never thought about "too much" being a problem, until now.
