Just why? She claims she thought it was a styling product. I will admit to not knowing a lot about African American hair care, so do not know what they use to keep extensions and weaves in place. But Gorilla GLUE? Can someone explain.
Maybe someone can provide input.

OK, I guess there is THIS stuff, but wouldn't you read the packaging?

If that is the actual label for Gorilla Glue (comment posted by Gorilla Glue once the link is opened), then I'd say her case is a frivolous one. This goes in the "special kind of stupid" category and one shouldn't be paid for that. I never had a weave or extensions but I do know that a stylist wouldn't use Gorilla Glue to attach those things. Maybe she saw the word Gel and didn't take the time to read further. But as a friend who also posted about this on FB pointed out, Gorilla Glue is not kept in the hair care section. Whenever someone is considering putting a product on skin and hair or eating a food product, one needs to read the labels carefully.

She is suing them?! They should sue her. Charge: putting something on you body without bothering to read the label. Too bad she didn't mistake for a smoothie.

In spite of this woman's extreme stupidity, I can't help feeling sorry for her. She has no case of course against Gorilla Glue. She can't shave her hair off, because her scalp will come with it. A lesson to be learnt read labels before using anything!

I feel really bad for her also. It was a very silly mistake that she is responsible for but she had beautiful hair and now it’s all gone. She’ll have to wait for her hair to grow so they can cut the glued hair off so she’ll have a crew cut for a while. Luckily she’s pretty enough to pull that off.

Maybe it should have been diluted in water, hair
spray is after all a type of water-soluble varnish.

Maybe a "little drop" in a bowl of water is the plan
and the young lady didn't get all the instructions.

Mike.

Yes, they could accuse her of trying to discredit their product by using it for a purpose other than that intended.

I may be dead wrong here, but this sound like BS to me.
Actually it's true and she ended up in the hospital. It was trending on Twitter several days ago.

What sounded like BS to me was the statement that she didn't realize it was Gorilla Glue. Turns out I'm correct. She used GG on purpose, not realizing how it would end up.

I feel terribly sorry for her. We've all done foolish things but rarely with such dire consequences.

"TikTok user Tessica Brown—issued the warning in a couple of now-viral videos in which she claimed to have used the heavy-strength adhesive to “finish off” her hairdo. Brown explained she had run out of her go-to hair spray one day and decided to use the Gorilla Glue spray as a substitute. Weeks and more than a dozen washes later, Brown’s hair has remained unmoved.

“Hey, y’all. For those of you that know me know that my hair has been like this for about a month now. It’s not by choice. No, it’s not by choice,” she said at the top of the video. “When I do my hair, I like to finish it off with a little Göt2b Glued Spray, you know, just to keep it in place. Well, I didn’t have any more göt2b Glued Spray, so I used this: Gorilla Glue spray. Bad, bad, bad idea.”

Used the bottled stuff to re-attach a mudflap to my old rusty car. Gorilla Glue is not water soluble and worked great. Don't think it's a good idea to sell it as a spray adhesive.

perhaps it is right in the headline..... she knows her complete misuse of product will get her nothing but so many people will send money to what ever go fund me type fundraiser she has............... amazing amounts have been gathered for other idiotic moves.

I would feel sorry for her if I believed it but to be honest I think in this case it is nonsense and just a way to make money out of gulible people 🤑
