Large Hail Balls in San Antoine

I saw one pic on TV of one the size of a football.

Part of Uvalde had baseball sized hail; people were posting in FB yesterday. Lots of damage. Glad my sister and family were spared.

The home and cars damage has to be a killer. I don't think anyone was killed and that is a miracle.

Agree, saw one SUV damaged pretty bad; broken windshield and sunroof.

This Hondo Hailstone is from our San Antonio sister station (KSAT) pins site. If this is legit (and I have no reason to think it's not), this would likely be the largest hailstone ever recorded in the state if not the country. Currently, 5" and 8" are the records and this looks bigger than that to me. I'll keep you posted.

That hailstorm did alot of damage to parts of San Antonio. Houses have huge holes and are missing windows.

That's incredible! I used to be so worried about hail damaging my car but in reality we didn't get many hail storms here in Jersey and certainly nothing like the one you posted about.

Texas has been hit hard this year, compared to most States. I can just imagine what hail stones this large has done to thousands of cars.
