has anyone had lasik surgery on their eyes---if so have you had any problems?

thats the problem i am having is blurr--i dont drive at night so their is no problem there

i was just reading that the blurry should go away in a few months up to a year---i am hoping sooner

Actually, I'm going to have laser cataract surgery done on both eyes. I was wondering about the difference between regular scalpel surgery and laser, since laser is highly recommended. Even though the cost is higher for laser, thru my online research and talking to the surgeon's assistant, laser is much, much better. Healing time is much faster and the laser is more accurate than the hand/scalpel is.

Wife and I have talked to a few people who have had the laser and their sight is darn near-to-100% perfect now. That's what we want for me and have to get it before my wife quits her job (for our move) and the vision insurance ends.

But, what helps us both right now is the clip-on sunglasses and clip-on yellow night glasses. The headlight glare from new vehicles is really, really bad. The yellow clip-on's definitely help.

hi classicrocker--i had scalpel surgery done after about a year i developed scar tissue so that is why i had to have lasik--i dont have to wear my glasses for driving after i had the surgery but i did get the blur--i read where it will eventurely go away
