Last lawn mowing job

The kid was supposed to come today. It' now just after 4 pm and haven't seen him.

I'm making a prediction that our own @debodun is going to be thrilled when it gets cold enough for the grass to stop growing! Hopefully by spring when it's time again, you'll have found someone who's actually reliable!

Well, the last time he was here, his mother mentioned that with school starting he'd be busy with schoolwork on weekdays and sports on the weekend. I told him to come back today and he agreed, but that was 3 weeks ago.

He called this morning and said he'd come over between 5 and 6 pm.

Wondering @debodun if you already lined up someone for snow shoveling/removal or are you going to do that yourself? It sure is getting close to that time again.

I can still shovel snow. It's less a chore than it was at my former house. Here I only have to shovel a 50 by 30 foot driveway and no sidewalks, shorter driveway and the garage door is not sitting right on the street where the plow piles up the snow.
