I searched the best price for an All-New Echo Dot (5th Generation 2022) Smart Speaker with Alexis for $22 (International Version with a power adaptor on Amazon Prime Day). Black Friday is coming soon so if I don't like it I may give the Bose or Sony a shot. I'll let you know what I think when it arrives.
 

What was the general consensus on storing them cuz that's gotta be a pile of apricots?
What I settled on doing is to cut them in half, remove the stone and give them a couple minutes "bath" in water / citrus juice and freezing on a cookie sheet...then putting in freezer bags. My wife has made apricot jam(30+ jars) and given much of it away. I gave away as much whole apricots as I could, will probably be giving some of the halved-frozen apricots as well...a person can only eat so many apricots! :p
 
Searched for how long, per pound, to cook a Prime Rib of Beef on the smoker at 250F for med. rare.
(Answer - 25 to 30 mins. per pound. Target internal meat temp. 130F before wrapping in foil to rest for 15-20 mins.)
We'll see later on this evening how that goes.
I went with 30 mins./lb for a 3 lb roast.
The info. I received was exactly correct. Slow cooked on the smoker at 250F for 90 mins. Then gave it a reverse sear on the cast iron grill on the gas BBQ. Perfect medium rare roast in the end (y)
