Last Thing You Searched on The Internet

I googled yesterday (Sunday) for a friend checking to see if Boots the chemist was open, it said ‘Open now’ so off he went, Boots was actually closed so not a great success, however he bought me chocolates on the way home (successful for me) ! 😋😍

Vitamin C supplement tablets. Every time I go to Walmart they're out of them and I had to buy chewables. yuck emoji.jpgHorrible things. Orange flavored but want to make me gag. I'm tired of Walmart's in stock/out of stock routine so I ended up buying from Puritan's Pride, same place I get my Lutein/Zaexantin pills for my eyes. They're always in stock. I'm beginning to buy more and more on line.

i searched for a forum about Seniors over 80 and found the Thread "For Those Over 80" here on SFs is closed. Why? nasty replies? I am very interested in advice and even opinions of my compatriots over 80 years old. Briefly I am single man living in a two-bit northern Colorado town and thinking of going "on the road" in a RV in the southwest US to explore for a new domicile. Most likely destination at this time is Arizona, based upon 15 + years as a snowird. Should I be doing this to explore where to move to or just look for a "senior home"? My mental age is much below my physical age. If talking about such a subject about life as this is verboten here please suggest another forum or reference

10+ Ways To Block iPhone Spam Forever - YouTube
(Google searched "how to turn off spam calls on iphone).
These 2 guys on youtube are good and well respected by my tech savvy daughter.

She fixed it last night for me. I got a spam call this morning that didn't ring but did notify me with a ding. I didn't want the more extreme fix of blocking all potential spam calls for fear of missing important calls.

Last thing I looked up ...... sizes of crochet hooks, and the best ones to use for different projects.
I want to make a throw for my couch with a bulky blanket yarn I bought.

I'm trying to THINK WINTER.;)

It's almost time to replace our washing machine hoses. So, I checked the prices (online) at the various stores this morning, and found the best deal for when we go shopping later this week. Spending a few minutes online, ahead of time, is sure a lot better than wasting time and gas running from store to store.

I just finished googling Kombucha. I tried my first Kombucha tea
a couple weeks ago. It did not set well with my stomach..

I started buying Kombucha last month from a supermarket. Came to the conclusion its best not to drink too much of it until I get used to it :)

Normally, what I search on the internet is between me and the FBI, but I've been wondering how my first ever foster son is doing. He was 13 when he came to live with us, and my own sons were 14 and 15.

Problem is, he went to live with his father when he was 17, and changed his surname. He changed it again a year later when he went to live with his mother, and about a year after that, he took his stepfather's surname.

I only remember 2 of those surnames, and I'm not sure which is whose. So I'll ask my son when he's home from work.

I searched "which side is best to sleep on for your heart?

....sleep on your "LEFT" for your HEART according to Mayo Clinic

...sleep on your RIGHT for your HEART according to AARP and sleep on your LEFT for digestion, acid reflux, heartburn

...according to the American Heart Association there is little evidence that either side is best

...they all agree NOT to sleep on your stomach

Cold weather is around the corner, so I went on Amazon and ordered my favorite brand of throat lozenge, Fisherman's Friend Extra Strength. When I have a sore throat, I don't want that cherry or candy flavored crap. I want something that will work immediately and numb the pain. No lozenge I ever took, works better than Fisherman's Friend Extra Strength. So now I am prepared for the cold weather.

I searched for a place to board our cat in case both my son and I go on a trip at the same time, even though we have nothing planned in the near future. Next reunion is supposed to be in Charlotte, N.J. in 2025. I'll need somewhere for her to stay then.

the street and home where I was born [Google Earth] - no I wasn't born on google earth that is the search engine!! - they have almost totally demolished and re-designed it baswards!!

I know how you feel Davey. I searched my childhood home where I lived in Hayama Japan for 3 years. A beautiful historical Japanese home with a Fuji View window, sliding rice paper doors, straw mat floors, Tatami Mats, sand walls, authentic Japanese garden. We sat on the floor to eat oriental meals at a low black lacquer table, totally experiencing the culture. It’s gone now and replaced with “Jack’s Coffee House”😞
