Late/mid night cravings

Usually once I'm asleep I'm like a log.
But if I wake up craving something to eat, it's usually White Castles or pizza.
Haven't had WC sliders in a year, but I woke up the other night with a craving.

I never crave sweets in the middle of the night. Not even ice cream, which I love.

How about you?

with me I more often wake up thirsty. So I have taken to bringing a glass of ice water with me when I go to bed. My midnight food cravings run to Sonic or Taco Bell.

Usually, it happens during the holidays when the refrigerator is full of interesting treats.

If I know there is leftover pizza or lasagna I can't go back to sleep until I've raided the icebox.

I’m a cheese slut, so yeah, a nip of that does it for me….anytime, with a slug of Langer’s cranberry raspberry

Bought a loaf of pepper jack, last trip to town
Really twangs the buds

If I wake with a hunger, and don’t wanna get too involved, it’s a spoon of Adam’s old fashioned crunchy, with a slug of Langer’s cranberry raspberry

If there’s any stale popcorn layin’ around, I’ll throw a couple/three handfuls in my yap, with a slug of Langer’s cranberry raspberry
(love love love stale popcorn, adorned with nutritional yeast…prefer it over freshly popped)

If there’s nuthin at hand….. just a slug of Langer’s cranberry raspberry

Skinny Pop popcorn. I eat at least 2 bags a week. This has become a habit as I have done this for almost 2 years now.

Sadly, these days, anything that I eat after 9 PM is still apt to be reminding me at 2 AM, that I shouldn't have eaten it - -whatever it was. Just can't eat in the evening anymore without discomfort later at night.:upset:

You may want to try Omeprazole. I think you can buy a low dose over the counter, like maybe 20 mgs.

Cereal -- multiple bowls when I can't sleep for pain. It's like I can't get enough carbs when in pain in the night and the pain/exhaustion combo trash my will power. After the onset of fibromyalgia in 2011, I gained 70 pounds. Have managed to lose almost 30 of it after getting prescription meds for pain/sleep a couple of years ago, but still would so love to lose it all plus a few more. Though the eating at night is better, exercise is challenging because overdoing it one day can trigger a fibro flare that lasts for a week or more.
