This popped up on my computer two days ago... but way too obvious since it is for PC's running Microsoft Windows and I am using an Apple
Similarly to that, I get large full-screen pop-ups that tell me my virus protection has run out and I am at great risk for a computer virus... even though I have a different company for that.!
The first time it happened, I was unnerved , partly because I couldn't remember at that moment, if I did have that company or not
It is very annoying even if recognized as bogus, immediately, because it is very difficult to close it down, to continue with whatever it interrupts.
If it's important they will leave a message.
I agree.
In addition:
Even when a message is left, I always look the number of the place up someplace else, separately, even if it sounds like it is from a place I DO want to call back.
I don't go by any number left in any message anymore. What a sad nuisance it is, that we cant believe or trust.... or expect honesty.
