Astonishing really and of course totally unacceptable on so many levels. He may well have now destroyed whatever career he has by his uncontrolled mouth. I can't imagine how the female journalist is
feeling. How embarrassing!

It has brought to the fore the subject of mysogeny. The way many men, certainly not decent men, discuss women is pretty dreadful and many apparently think it's funny, even normal. Everyone is talking about the somewhat crude phrase he used.

As if any woman would be willing and wishing for him to oblige her in this act anyhow! Not any longer, I suspect.

Appreciate the context. I'd never heard of either of them, nor of GB News, so didn't know how large they figured in your country.

Oh you are right, he is nobody anyway and he has a track record of being unpleasant.

for 1) laughing when Fox made his comments.. and 2) for not tasking him to task for it... ..they're birds of a feather anyway.. so altho' it seems unfair for Wootten to be suspended, it's not really.. he thinks along the same lines as Fox.. he could have saved himself by saying to Fox, that his opinion was valued but not necessarily a correct one... and he didn't... but because the channel has gone from being a free thinking free speaking channel..to now a woke channel. ..and IMO.. Wootten will be reinstated with a warning that he must toe the new line..and Fox will not..

I do believe the whole GB news channel is finished anyway... someone just has yet to turn out the lights
 
I only knew Lawrence Fox from his short lived role in Lewis and Hathaway. At about that same time he married Billie Piper. I know nothing about the woman he was insulting, but she need only refer back to evidence of his taste in women and she should feel better.

the female he insulted is just as bad at insulting men .. and has done very recently.. this is why he reacted in the way he did... not excusing his actions.. but this woman is known for belittling men at every turn... so she's no victim
