I think
@Ronni is a life coach professionally.
There are differences between Encouragement coaching and being a Life Coach. Technically I am neither, though the work I do shades into both.
The client, In an Encouragement Coaching session, is guided through a variety of exercises (visualization, affirmations, journaling, meditation etc) with the end goal of centering yourself, re-discovering who you are, increasing confidence and self awareness etc.
Life coaching is goal oriented, and is aimed towards the client reaching their full potential either personally or professionally or both, establishing goals and a vision for their future and becoming accountable for failure to reach those goals. An overall goal is stated and is then broken down onto lesser goals leading to the attainment of the overall one.
My forte is in the facilitation of my clients’ progress towards and then ultimate attainment of those visions and goals.
If a goal is to achieve better organization in the home for example, I’ll work with the client to determine, first of all, why organization of their home eludes them. Based on their answers as well as my observation and inspection of their home and the client’s personality, I’ll then formulate systems and routines, purchase the necessary organizational tools and equipment and then implement the system.
What I do is very hands-on. Life coaches and Encouragement coaches guide and advise. Their work can be done virtually. Mine can’t.
