Or I might just leave it in the checking account in case I end up in the hospital again. Since my bank is out of town withdrawals from savings is more difficult. I just wish things were better financially for me but, I'd rather be at a more peaceful job than making more money.

I think if I am able to get the desk job I want I will make more than I am now.
 

I work with such rude people. I'm in the bathroom with door locked and a staff member jiggles the door handle

and rather than knock they start fiddling with that outside button to unlock the door and let themselves in.

If I hadn't said anything she would have walked in on me. I HATE that so much.
 
Well the nurse is busy so I had to leave a voicemail. I sure hope she gets back to me. Otherwise I guess I'll have to suffer and hope I don't end up in the hospital again.

I need to take the trash out but the weather is awful so I will wait. I didn't get the trash bin untethered from the porch. Hopefully the kid won't get mad.
 
Nurse finally returned my call. I will have antibiotic in hand tomorrow when I go to work. I would go get it today but I'm not in the mood to go out in this weather.

Trying to figure out what I want to eat.

Got all my medical bills paid. I upgraded my internet speed and plan to buy myself an early christmas present of the new Nintendo Switch and the $20 annual online acct and go back to gaming since I can't afford a car. The rest of the money will stay in my bank acct for the next crisis or taxes or both. LOL
 
I was nice to the nurse at the doctors office today even when she told me I had to reschedule because I was 10 minutes late for a 30 minute appoint that I would have only spent 10 minutes out of the entire 30 minutes allotted with the Nurse Practitioner. My hubby also had appointment right after me. No one in office was waiting & no one came in after us for an appoint since it was right before their lunch.

I wasn't happy & hubby told me he was taken back by her remark too. She has been nasty when I've dealt with her in the past a few times. But there usually was another nurse there too. I'll give the nurse one more chance, but I'm seriously thinking about switching back to the other office which is closer to us. We have had a lot of nice nurses in that office, but they didn't stay there long because of the drive, this one won't leave.

When our long-time NP moved to the south office, we opted to stay with her. I really liked & trusted her, which is hard for me to do with a doctor. The new NP, who just took over in the last 6 months is very nice, but neither of us are attached to her like the other one.
 
Working the next 4 days. I will be picking up my antibiotic when I get to work. I'm managing ok except for the cough gets worse in the evenings. I figure the Roflumilast must be working because I would be in the hospital by now.

I decided not to get the new Nintendo Switch because people have been having lots of issues with being locked out of their consoles at the whim of Nintendo. If the system thinks your game is pirated even if it's not it will lock you out. If your username is offensive to the system even if it's innocent and not really offensive it will lock you out.

For the price of those things there's no way I'm risking that. I'm gonna get me an Xbox. There's a bunch of free to play games that I like so I can do that. They don't require a game pass. Just a Microsoft account and a stable internet connection. The Xbox is cheaper than the Playstation 5 and has 120 fps whereas the PS5 only runs on 60 fps.

I think I need some coffee this morning.
 
Morning.

Yesterday was very busy at work. I also got 2 rooms deep cleaned. I forgot which ones. I know one of them but not sure about the other. LOL! I was so sore when I got home I could hardly hobble through the house.

We did fit testing for N95 masks and I can't use the regular duck bill. Had to have one called an 1870 to get the max protection. The regular duck bill only offered 50 out of 100 for protective seal. The 1870 offered 200. I've been using the wrong mask all this time to clean covid rooms. I will wear the thicker surgical masks this winter in the unit when I can breathe better.

New boss is micromanaging us and writing people up right and left. We're not gonna have any staff at the rate things are going. I hope management is ok with cleaning the facility. LOL!

One of my coworkers sat with me at dinner last night and she waits til we're done eating to tell me the grandkid that lives with her thinks she might have covid. My first thought was why the hell are you sitting with me then? She knows I get sick easy. I was mad. I'm sitting by myself from now on if this is how careless they're gonna be.

I am having my tea while I chat with you all. :)

I'm having so much fun with this island! My little FB page has become a daily labor of love and developed into a full-blown hobby. Keeping the FB diary of my life on this island has really intensified the enjoyment of my little life there. :)

I haven't done much with the island itself, sans some inclines and bridges as I don't plan to terraform on this one. The villagers are coming along; though I have two I really don't want. But that can be remedied soon enough.

Yesterday, I finally found some time to "go to work" on Paradise Planning and get that part of the game started.

And husband bought me Annalisa's card so I can bring her my island. :)

My son teases that I play this game like a dollhouse. :)

How are things going on your AC life? Building stuff? How are you villagers?
 
@Medusa I've stalled out some on mine. I've been sick and I've been exhausted from work so I haven't done much lately. I'm in the process of moving residents to a neighborhood type setting and I changed the sitting area as I plan to make a new entrance off the airport with the fountain in the middle now. Just trying to get the bells I need to pay off the house and do everything. Post some more pics when you can. I will do the same once I get some things done.

I hope I don't end up with Covid again after just having this stupid upper respiratory infection. I could use another vacation but...LOL!

So sorry you've been unwell. Ugh. :(

Villager neighborhoods are fun. I've built them on a couple of my islands; it's nice to have the villagers all in one area and to decorate it for them.

I will post some pictures and look forward to yours when you have a chance. :)
