Well another day. Tomorrow I will pick up my new glasses and exchange my gaming things for stuff that hopefully works. LOL! Then I can game my little heart out. I have to get a storage card because the thing only has 340 gb of storage on it. Not much for what all I wanna play on it.
I tried Palia but didn't care for the gameplay. I have Fortnite and Stardew Valley on there so far. I don't feel like the prices on the digital games are too bad on there. They're like $80 on the Nintendo Switch 2.
I might get the Sims 4. Haven't decided yet.
We have to do our own job evals and I literally hate that. We basically tell them what improvements or accomplishments we've made and what are goals are for the following year. Gag! If I get this other job I won't be getting any raise. Hopefully they'll pay me more. LOL!

Morning everyone.
I don't have any dress shoes or fancy clothes so I cleaned up my black sneakers and pulled out a pair of black slacks and a the nicest top I own from Ross's dress for less that I bought years ago. I am unable to steady my hands enough anymore to do mascara so I will just do foundation and a tinted lip gloss and paint my nails. Best I can do. Hopefully it will all work out to my advantage by the grace of God.
The new headset is a nice one and it started right up for me. The new controller seems to be working too. I thought I was buying a storage card for the xbox but got an hdd instead of an ssd. The hdd is an external. But that's ok. It will still work. I busied myself last night downloading games while watching dvds. I still have more I want to download but it will take time. Some of the larger games take like 2 hours.
They are supposedly going to make us lists of expectations for our areas soon. *Rolls Eyes* Frankly they have some who don't do jack and others who are overloaded. I don't know how much they think one person can do in 8 hrs. One of the girls had to do checkouts by herself one night and had to clean 16 rooms. I don't know why they didn't call the others up to help her.

Some time ago there was a post on the site about not liking being called dear or hon in the stores or restaurants. But I tell ya, that I don't mind. Don't even mind being called sweetie.
What I don't care for is being called mama. The kid at the GameStop kept calling me mama when I was with my male friend from work. Then yesterday when I was alone he was calling me gorgeous. Didn't like that either.
The kids today seem to think that this is some form of having manners. I didn't wanna be hateful and explain to him that it wasn't polite. I just ignored it and made my purchase. As I was leaving I told him he might wanna go to the eye doctor.
What I don't care for is being called mama. The kid at the GameStop kept calling me mama when I was with my male friend from work. Then yesterday when I was alone he was calling me gorgeous. Didn't like that either.

Morning. Working this weekend. Blah. Having some coffee and doing my breathing treatments.
Been eyeballing games in the Microsoft store on my Xbox to see if there's anything else I wanna play or if I'm satisfied with what I have. There's a game I wanna play but, I'm not sure if it will be too hard for me. It might. I may just not bother. It won't hurt anything I have many other options.
The actual boss told me yesterday I was doing a good job in the unit. Not the one that's coming into power but my original one. So I'm hoping it's a shared thought between the two as I've been busting my ass to get things and keep things clean. The others aren't doing much.
Hopefully I'll get this other job and I won't hafta worry about it. I just wish they'd give us a decent raise instead of a 25 cent raise every year. It's just not enough.

Morning.
Normally I'd still be sleeping but my allergies are driving me crazy. My sinuses are so stuffed up I can't sleep.
We've had almost zero bugs all summer. Even the Cicadas! It has rained several days and the mosquitos are out in force. I had 3 or 4 get in the house just via opening the door. Three came in with me last night after work and then I peeked out this morning and another slid in. Good sized ones too.
I hope my sinuses settle down tonight so I can sleep since I have that interview Monday. LOL!

I ended up going out and rinsing my sinuses and taking some sinus meds. Finally got a couple more hrs of sleep. I probably won't be on after work tonight because I have things to do for in the morning. Usually I'm nervous about job interviews but I'm just mostly excited this time.

A couple of guys from the mideast I think, at convenience stores, call me mom or mama. They seem to be respectful and I don't mind at all.

Didn't get my nails painted. I felt too awful. Just gonna concentrate on looking my best and doing my best at the interview today. I will hope for the best outcome.
Having a Coke this morning. Leftover from yesterday. I wish I could steady my hands enough for mascara but it is what it is. I have a couple bills to pay today and I've got to go into Zillow.com and finish the set up so I can pay my rent with autopay. The checks get lost in the mail.

Time to kill before the interview so I took care of the rent thing and one of the bills. I'm not fully dressed yet cuz I'm trying to stay cool beforehand. I get hot so easy after having been through menopause.
I sure hope everything goes well. I really could use this job. It's hard to do housekeeping at work with only 56% lung function. I was looking at registrar jobs but they want 2 yrs office experience.
I wish I had nicer clothes but, oh well. I did my best.

Well, at this point it doesn't look good. It's only 64 hrs and I never got a pay quote. I'd hafta work 7-3:30 3 days a week and one 7-11 one night. Unless they can pay me enough to make up for that lost day I'm not gonna be able to do it.
I won't get any differential pay except for that one evening shift. And I'll lose my raise this year so...probably gonna be a no go.
Waiting on food from Chipoltle. Just gonna chill out the rest of the day.
