Learning How To Live Life

You know what I find interesting? They told me that job was full time at 64 hrs. I guess anything between 64 & 80 is FT. However, when I do the math on the hrs they told me it's not even 64.

They'd have to throw in another 8 hr shift to make it so. It's only 56. I would lose my insurance if I took it. I don't know who does their math for them but... :unsure:

The storage drive I got quit working last night for no reason. Kinda miffed cuz it was expensive. So I will try to get the SSD one this next round.

For now I have a short list of games to download. I might go back out to gamestop and have them help me find what I need. I'm mad at myself for forgetting the day I was out there.

Anyway, working now til the weekend. I plan to order a few groceries and do some gaming. Or I might do some housework and finish downloading some games I wanna play. The kitchen is getting cluttered again cuz I don't have enough cabinet space.

I have decided to keep searching for a desk job with no experience needed. I wish I could find something remote that I could do from home that was actually legit. ~Shrugs~

Anyway, I have one more game to download tonight and then I can play some this weekend. I'm gonna try to get some cleaning done before that though.

I don't like my new glasses. I feel like the bifocal is too high and I'm always looking through it. Plus I can't see for crap with them so I put my others back on. I think from now on I'm just gonna go ahead with the progressives. I can't even use the computer with those others it's so bad.

It's environmental services week and we got a ticket for a free meal at work. They're having wraps with chips and a cookie for us tonight or we can go have a hot dog instead. Neither sounds appealing so I might just go have a salad. If I want hotdogs I can have those at home and I'm not terribly fond of wraps.

They don't really do much to show us appreciation. They had a drawing for 4 lunch bags rather than just give us all one. God forbid they should spend a little money on us. Oh well.

GameStop does same day delivery and I found the storage card I need for my Xbox on there for less than what Walmart has them for. So I might see about that Saturday. I was looking through a bunch of games on there I might like.

Would they do Anything to correct them??? I think they should.
Or upgrade them if its better for you.?😐

At the very least, they should be happy to move that line for you, or to give you a replacement with a single lens, that you could use just for 1 purpose, at least .

About the job ,I think that's excellent to do... to keep looking for a desk job that you can apply for.

How about scheduling people for appointments, or procedures or something?

Its Just a random thought.
They often do that at a different location now. Some maybe even remote?

It's funny cuz they can't find anyone who wants to be in my area. I must be weird. LOL
 
Possibly yes but I'm not interested in the added expenses ya know? Plus nothing ever works with my work schedule. It's the thought that counts. Thank you. 🙂

Last night was kinda wild in the ER with the psych patients. Made for an interesting night.

Our Fun Team had a tailgate party of sorts. They burned us some hotdogs and served them with bags of chips and packaged cookies. I made the mistake of eating in the cafeteria cuz I thought they would grill the dogs in the parking lot. They grilled them in this space just outside the cafeteria.

Sent me into a COPD attack and I spent the rest of the night hacking & hoping I wouldn't end up as a patient. Our dept got chicken or turkey wraps with some nasty homemade chips and cookies that come in frozen and get baked. At the end of the night I got a couple turkey wraps. Ate one last night.

Will eat the other before work. One of my favorite male nurses in the ER is leaving us today for better things. I will him. He's a nice young man. He's a little ornery which is why I like him. 😁 We lost my favorite female nurse and my favorite female tech. It's gonna be lonely in there without them.

I think the ER just burns them out so they don't wanna stay. I just find that area fascinating to work in.

I did sleep well @Kaila thank you. Last nights mac and cheese at work upset my stomach and I felt awful the rest of the night. I think from now on when they have things that look iffy I'm just gonna eat salad. LOL! They had pigs in a blanket but we've had hot dogs all frickin week. :sick:

If I want a hotdog I have some at home. Anyway, I'm waiting on my grocery delivery. I ordered the storage card I need from GameStop. Either tomorrow or Monday I have to order something else yet from Walmart. I have trouble swallowing acetaminophen pills so there's a children's chewable I use instead. They had bottles of 60 so I have marked 2 and will order it soon.

Having some coffee & contemplating some things before I go do dishes and work on finishing a game download. Might clean while the game is downloading.

I want to watch my church service today cuz tomorrow is football.
 
I watched like 3 services. Since 2018 the pastor has done various Clash of Titans series talking about end times. In today's service he mentioned one from the very first series and I ended up watching 2 more. LOL!

I played a little Stardew Valley on my xbox. Not sure if I like it on there. Trying to get used to the settings. Most of the games the controller is just different than what I've had in the past. I played Fortnite Battle Royale today and placed 3rd. I still need to tweak some settings. There's no way to make the crosshair any larger which kinda sucks.

Tomorrow I'll give Apex Legends and PubG a try. I've played Apex before on the Switch.
 
just got home from the er. i had a little exacerbation from my copd. because of some other symptoms they did a ct scan of my heart to look for a clot. i think it's just because of that stupid respiratory infection i had. gonna go to bed til it's time for football.
 
I'm flat in bed, not feeling well today, too.
I can barely stand and walk a half dozen steps with a rollator.

I'm hoping the game will be distracting,

and gripping my full attention 😊
and even funny, if possible. 😁
With some unbelievable calls and penalties. 😄😅🤣

I know I'm asking a lot of a dumb football game, but it's what I've got atm.
