i watched a christmas karen. i was able to handle that.
the pie turned out to be chocolate satin with chocolate chips on it and a chocolate graham cracker type crust. it's pretty rich. lol!

i'm off to look for some things for my animal crossing game for the house.
watching a little beyond the gates while i go furniture hunting.

I've been playing on the Nintendo Switch more. Thinking of setting the Xbox aside for a while.

I actually like the switch better. I can't play the Nintendo wii unless I get some sort of hdmi adapter. Not sure if it would work si might take that stuff to the used game shop to sell.

The Xbox will be my backup.

Been chilling and watching TV. Might play something yet on the switch. I have one more game I wanna get for that. Then I'm waiting for the animal crossing update and some new games in 2026.
 
*sips coffee* slept pretty good. i think i went to bed around 3. almost fell asleep on the sofa at 8 last night. pathetic. :ROFLMAO: my pie isn't even half way gone. it's very sweet. i had 4 little egg rolls for supper and more pie. finished off some cookies and had a little popcorn. probably gained back 5 lbs. :rolleyes:

i've had this nintendo switch for a bit but, if it quits on me the gamestop has more used ones for like a couple hundred bucks. the new one costs like almost $500. no thanks. i like the little switch lite. i don't have as much trouble with the joycons cuz it's all one piece. i can play my games and watch tv at the same time. 😁

i didn't even need an anxiety pill yesterday. we'll see how today goes. it was odd because the er doc that took care of me that morning i had my anxiety attack told me to tell my primary he said hi. i did that and my primary made a face and kinda chuckled and never said anything more. seemed odd to me.

i have a neighbor behind me that has this odd little motor bike. sounds like it's running on a lawn mower engine. it's noisy as hell and annoying. i think it's his transport to work. he leaves every day just before noon. *grits teeth & cusses under breath*

When my anxiety starts I start to feel this nervous flutter from inside and my chest starts to feel heavy.

I get the shakes and start hyperventilating. If I get it early I can get calmed down with my meds. Otherwise it goes full blown and I end up catching an ambulance to the er.

It sucks. If i don't go to the er I could have a copd exacerbation and go into respiratory failure. It's a bad situation.

This morning I tried to check my updated SSA statement and both login.gov and id.me gave this error message:

(Service Unavailable This service is currently unavailable. Please try again later.)​

I emailed them asking when it will be fixed. :rolleyes: Maybe I need to go back to getting the paper version.

Last nights supper at work was disgusting. Our options were firecracker shrimp which I don't care for shrimp or anything that spicy. The other was chili cornbread casserole? Cornbread with chili and cheese on it. It was gross. No sandwiches on the sandwich bar. No salad bar cuz they were trying to get rid of the little boxed salads from the Christmas dinner the day before. Barely any desserts.

I am still only getting about 2 hrs a night on the cpap before my nose gets too stuffy. Sometimes I get lucky and it lasts longer.

Around shift change last night we started getting a bevy of ambulances compared to normal. So things got pretty busy. I expect today we'll have a lot of full rooms and possibly holds that are waiting for a room upstairs. Couple drunks made it in last night. Always so much fun. One was brought in from a drive thru somewhere in town.
 
Since it's snowing today is gonna suck at work cuz the floors will be a mess and they'll be calling for me to mop everywhere all night. Wish I could call in.

Working on gathering things for my Animal Crossing game. I have some ideas rolling around so we'll see.

I found a video on YT that might help me fix it so I can do in game chat. If so there's a new shooter game that actually looks like fun and seems to be pretty chill. Gonna look at my settings tonight and see. Otherwise I won't be able to play I don't think.
 
We have this one young man that does trash and linen pick up and he refuses to wear his gloves. He's collecting stuff from cdiff rooms with bare hands unaware and not washing.

So he's spreading it through the entire hospital. It just sickens me.
 
It got up to 65F per my car. I walked out of the house with a LS tee shirt & flannel shirt & was warm. While watching Landman, the weather radio went off with a thunderstorm warning. Hubby took the dog out & put the lids on the trash cans just before it started to rain. Now it's pouring down. By morning we are supposed to be in the mid-20s & will have snow at some point of the day.

So, gaming headsets are in the neighborhood of $60 - $100+ and I can't seem to get them to work. Pretty sure it's settings on the Xbox. However, there are gaming groups on Discord that play Arc Raiders. So, I found a computer headset that should work with my Chromebook for around $25. Then I can just chat on Discord while playing the game.

So I bought the game and it's downloading now. One of the kids from food service plays and he's on Discord so he said he'd play with me. Maybe I can find another nice group to join. We'll see.

Gonna play on my Nintendo Switch if I don't get too tired after dinner. 🤗💋

Morning kat. No. When I worked in food service I was allowed one free meal a day. But now I have to pay for meals unless we get a free meal card or a holiday meal. Most of the time my meals cost anywhere from $8 to $14. And they are usually pretty awful but taking my lunch doesn't work for me. I have to keep food on hand for it and take the time to put it together. Plus we have someone in our dept. that gets into the fridge where we keep our lunches and they steal and eat our food.
 
Good morning friends. I think I got my sound issues for gaming chat figured out. I will be ordering that headset. It might work with my xbox controller. If not I can use it on the computer in the discord game chats. So the headset is in my Walmart cart and I have the game purchased and installed. Whenever I order groceries again, I'll order the headset along with unless I order it seperately.

I'm off today. I have a few things to do but otherwise I'll be chilling out. Getting hungry so I'm gonna go get my dishes done and get some food in me. Be back later.
 
I decided I'm not in the mood to do any cooking today so lunch is from Burger King. Not sure about supper later. Maybe Taco Bell.

@Kaila remember me joking about gaining 5 lbs from Christmas dinner? I'm down to 197. LOL! How does that happen?
