Learning How To Live Life

So utterly tired of every day drama. Why can't people just chill out? I go to work and it's a total b***hfest. Couple crazy ones that talk to themselves. One that watches Tik Tok videos on repeat til you wanna strangle her.

Get online and everyone is in an uproar about something. FFS lay off the caffeine or something. People just can't seem to relax anymore. It's very stressful for someone with anxiety to be around all that commotion all the time.

Living room is done. Trash is out & I'm trying out some psoriasis shampoo because I think that's what's wrong with my scalp. The dandruff and dry scalp stuff isn't working.

Going to shower soon and might order take out. IDK yet. I also got some psoriasis lotion to see if I can rid myself of the itchy dry skin as well. My back is the worst. I have a thing I can put the lotion on and put it on my back. Thank God.

Probably watch tv til it's time to play Fortnite.

Groceries have arrived. I got these cute little Daisy cottage cheese things with fruit. I'm gonna go eat one and get started on my cleaning.

Talk to you all later!
I used to get those; they are good. :) Now I buy the 4 packs of 4oz containers of 2% cottage cheese and combine them with the 1/2 cup packs of cinnamon apple sauce. The little combo packs are way more convenient if you're away from home though.

My scalp gets dry, especially in winter. I either rub my scalp with coconut oil or a 50/50 mix of coconut/castor oil. After I rub it a little bit of a time into my scalp (don't need gobs of it because it will melt), I put on a throwaway shower cap to keep it from dripping & an old shirt if it does go down my neck. You can wrap a towel around it for more effect from the warmth. If I'm sitting down, I will put a towel behind me just in case I get sloppy & don't get it on the furniture. It's not as messing as it might sound to you. Usually I do it while I clean the house for at least an hour. Just shampoo as usual.

I also found that Sally's Beauty Supply has their own knock-off of Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo which helps me. After all of the expensive things, that worked the best for me. Tea tree oil has antibacterial/antifungal properties in it.

This isn't just dry scalp though. I wish it was. I'm pretty sure it's psoriasis. I have been miserable. I used the shampoo yesterday and it actually felt a little better afterwords. I bought some lotion because it is on my forhead and eyebrows too. It says to use it twice a week but I read online if it's severe enough you can use it daily til it starts to clear up. I have a processing cap in the shower I can put on it while I take my shower and leave it sit.

The dry scalp products weren't even making a dent in soothing it. Actually made it worse. So I'm hoping to see some results soon. We have a Sally's Beauty Supply here too. I used to get my hairnets there when I worked in food service.

I'm glad for the reminder above, on tea tree oil shampoo,
@Lilac
In addition to soothing, it is also relaxing.
I might see if I can find some, to use before bedtime.

I hope those things you got, help your skin condition,
@MarciKS

That's so irritating and agitating, when it's like that!

Having my coffee and contemplating the day. I think I'll wait til Thursday to clean the bathroom good and then see if I can have the landlord fix my leaky faucet on Monday of next week when I'm off.

I have the cool mist humidifier blasting in the living room with me. The air is so dry in here. It got down to like 8 degrees last night not counting the wind chill. Today will be warmer.

I didn't end up playing Fortnite with my new friends because they were playing stuff I am no good at. The hide and seek was hilarious to watch. And I think I'm gonna hafta get used to playing solo matches because I have a hard time finding people to play with. I will probably start on Call of Duty Warzone today. Since Valorant doesn't offer solo play I probably won't bother with that.

Last night I ended up starting a Farm Life Tycoon game in Fortnite for XP (experience) and there's a couple other games in there you can ride these rails for XP. I kinda like exploring the other games in Fortnite by different creators. Some are kinda fun. The prop hunt games are usually a good time. You can turn into stuff in the game and they have to find you by listening for your ping.

I love how whenever I actually make a good point in a thread I am suddenly ignored. Like God forbid I should be engaged in conversation because I guess I'm too stupid to talk to about important topics? Or because I might argue? IDK. But whatever... 🙄 I will find something else to do that doesn't annoy the others.

It is nice and quiet outside. Very peaceful right now. I think I'm gonna make myself some Suddenly Salad today.

I think if I stay on top of it for the next several days I might start getting some relief. I went all day with barely a tickle and then last night it got real itchy for a bit then finally settled down again. So the first use actually brought some relief.

They said it might get more itchy before it gets better depending on the amount of inflamation. Mine is pretty bad so it might take a couple days to settle down some.
