Learning How To Live Life

I don't know anything about your games but just wanted to let you know I am reading your posts about them anyway. Hope you are having a good day and I am sorry about your pain in your hand. It is always something isn't it? :cautious:
Yes it's always something. Now I am dealing with IDK what. Either psoriasis or severe eczema or both. I'm trying different things. I found some Walmart brand colloidal oatmeal lotion for half what the Aveeno cost so I got 2 bottles on my list. It's $14 something for a 12 oz bottle of Aveeno shampoo and $16 for Aveeno conditioner same size. I got two 8 oz bottles of Flexitol shampoo and conditioner in one (also colloidal oatmeal) for $21. Gonna try that. Everyone else at work is complaining about dry skin this year too. I don't know if not getting enough rain can make things worse or what.

As for my games...you don't hafta understand them. Just caring is enough. Kaila cracks me up with some of her humorous comments that go along with my gaming posts. 😁

I found that game Cabernet rather fascinating last night. I will continue on with it. You can change yourself into a bat and fly around. My bat is so cute! You can put people in a trance and turn into a vampire and feed. It's hilarious when they feed. All you see is what looks like your floating in a blood induced haze. It's cracked me up last night.

my tax appt is for the 19th. we'll see how much i'm gonna owe. hopefully not more than i can manage, i would like to be able to afford the furniture i need yet. 🀞

it was stupid busy last night at work so i just did what i could. i've decided i will allow myself one caffeinated drink per day. the rest will hafta be decaf. trying to stick with diet/sugar free stuff. just wish i could let go of my chocolate candy fetish. lol! i just need to start getting the granola bars or something. even fig newtons are better than a candy bar.

You know, this itchy skin and scalp didn't get bad until after that dosing of augmentin. Online it says it can cause a type of dermatitis that is similar to eczema in people allergic to penicillan. Maybe that's why I am utterly miserable right now with this. I hate it when doctors don't listen. They try to talk you into s**t and you end up paying for it.

wow.... augmentin is a powerful antibiotic, of course, but is powerful in other ways too.
So, I hadn't thought of that, with the skin problem, but could be.

Having to run the heaters more, due to the very cold spells, would also cause dehydration and worsen skin problems...

Hopefully, the items you ordered, might be soothing!

Thanks for that comment, above. :)

I'm done. I don't care. I'm so mad tonight. This is the second time I've had to follow the one day shift guy and he hasn't done jack in the unit.

Today I had to do 3 linen carts again, none of the trash got pulled and was heavy as hell. The bathrooms didn't get cleaned and he didn't do his rooms either.

So I'm sitting on my a** til it's time to go home.

Marci, I was suffering like crazy with an itchy dry scalp same as you. I did some research and found Mielle rosemary mint scalp and hair strengthening oil from Walmart. One treatment and my life changed. No longer do I suffer from itchy scalp. If it helps with hair growth....well that will be an added benefit. Wanted to share with you. It was very affordable. Good luck!

@OopsieDaisy I gotta figure out what it is first. I have itchy skin elsewhere too. I'm thinking there's a problem afoot. But I'll make note of it. Thank you.

@Kaila I know. It sucks. Made for a painful and miserable day.

Having my morning coffee and hoping the ortho doc can help with my hand. I'm wearing my compression gloves to work. IDC. My hand hurts so bad today. If he offers me another shot I'm taking it. I have xrays at 2:45 and my appt with him is at 3:00. I have a few groceries coming between 5 & 7. Supposed to get the shampoo and conditioner delivered from FedEx I guess tomorrow too. I can't believe they don't have that in house and it has to be shipped. I have another pair of compression gloves coming. That way I have one for home and one for work.

I came to the conclusion last night after examining my game play on Fortnite that I don't do well with squads (4 or more ppl). I do better in solo or duo matches. A whole team is just too chaotic for me. When I play alone I get several kills and get in the top 5 a lot more. Duos I can keep better track of my playmate than trying to figure out what the entire team is doing and where they are. Plus they get all the loot and I'm left with whatever they don't pick off. It's stupid.

I think I'm gonna start on the car mechanic simulator tonight. Looks like fun. I have always kinda liked vehicles and automotive stuff. I hope there are girl characters on there to play with. I don't wanna be a man! LOL!

In Fortnite they came out with sidekicks. I got a cat the other night. I was playing my game and the d**n cat kept getting in the way. LOL! Might take a bit to get used to. Not sure if it will interfere with my gameplay. Mentally it's annoying when you're focused on killing other players and this d**n cat comes into your field of vision when you're looking down the scope of your sniper gun. LMAO!

I love playing video games. It gives my brain something constructive to do and keeps me from having to think about unpleasantries. Plus helping eye/hand coordination.

Hoping they have something good for supper tonight. The tortellini last night was gross.

There's 3 of us now that have left the food service dept and joined the housekeeping dept. LOL! I asked one of them last night if the whole kitchen was coming.

Good thoughts for your appointment today! I'm really hoping you get some relief from this pain, Marci.

FFS! I've spent 3 days coddling this girl in the unit and tonight she had a panic attack and said she was sick so, she had to go home half way through. And her ride is a coworker so he had to leave too to take her home.

She seen them cut off someone's leg and pull it the rest of the way off in OR where she usually works but she can't handle ER. Please.

um..... she worked in the OR, but can't handle the ER..... and you've spent days training her... so you're still without help.
eek!πŸ™„πŸ˜¬β˜ΉοΈ
